Integrating Lynda videoclasses in Blackboard - experiences.

Courses with a practical focus are well suited for using video based material instead of live tutorials. In this talk I present how a video course in AutoCAD from Lynda.com, was integrated with a Blackboard course at campus. The course was divided into modules and each module consisted of a set of Lynda classes, followed by a quiz to confirm learning outcome. The use of adapted release forced the students to accomplish each quiz, before continuing. At the end of each course module, an onsite exercise was accomplished, also supported by short videoinstructions recorded inhouse and integrated into the exercise documentation. A short survey at the end of the course, shows positive respons from the students, although some criticism was also put forward.
